Hi - Peter Shanks here. For the last year and a half I've been working in Tasmania as their
toolbox champion. The job includes promoting
Flexible Learning Toolboxes and teaching people how to customise them for their individual industries.
This has led to a lot of training in on-line teaching and training techniques, including quite a bit on setting up and using
moodle. I'm often being asked how to import and edit toolbox learning objects in moodle, and (until now) have had to tell people that they need more HTML, Flash, Javascript, CSS and IMS content packaging skills before they can modify the material - which is a shame when there's a perfectly good WSYWIG editor in moodle that they could be using instead, if only the learning objects were in a native moodle format.
Which is what this site is all about. I've written some code that takes the IMS content pacages from the Framework and modifies them a little before producing a moodle export file that (hopefully) is ready to restore into a moodle installation.
