With an apology for my intrusion, I was about to withdraw when Holmes pulled me abruptly into the room and closed the door behind me.

This book was probably one of the best novels Sir Arthur Conan doyle wrote, due to the mere fact that the writing was much more descriptive and vivid than most of his other books.
