The Recent Additions RSS Feed

If you have your own web site you can display the last 15 titles added to Abacci books via our RSS feed, found at:

http://www.abacci.com/mm/abacciRSS.xml

RSS is an XML standard for publishing site updates - which means you can:

  1. receive alerts via a newsreader when a site changes, and
  2. you can publish a section of Abacci on your own site, which will update every time we add new content here.

For more information on how to run a newsreader, have a look at What is RSS and what can it do for you? on HiveMind

For information on including an RSS feed on one of your webpages, you might try a quick search on Google or visit the O'Reilly RSS DevCenter

If all this seems a bit complex, you can just add this code to your web page:

<script language="javascript" src="http://www.abacci.com/books/abaccijs.asp"></script>

Of course, you can wrap any html formatting you want around the script statement to improve the look of the output.

If all goes right, you should see something like this (I've put it in a table to make it stand out a bit):

If you do add an Abacci feed please drop me a line 'cos I'd love to see it.
