Affiliation income is the heart of the Abacci Bazaar. An affiliate program is a partnership between your site and an online merchant - that is, a website that sells goods or services. When you join a merchant's program, you can link directly to its site and any sales made from visitors you send via these links result in a percentage of the sale being credited to your account.

There are two ways of getting into an affiliation. The first is through a direct relationship with the company, where they run their own affiliation program; and the second is through a third party affiliation manager. There are three big players in the affiliation manager market: LinkShare, beFree and Commission Junction
